It’s an interesting choice that Sony made.

If you’ve been keeping up with the news over the past couple of weeks, you’ve likely heard about the Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered leak. The information was later confirmed during the PlayStation State of Play, and the refreshed edition was officially revealed, with an upgrade price of just $9.99 for current owners

With Horizon Zero Dawn now removed from the Epic Games Store, this could be the ideal time to grab a copy while it’s still available on Steam and GOG.

The original Horizon Zero Dawn has disappeared from the Epic Games Store

If you visit the store page on EGS, you’ll notice ‘Unavailable’ instead of the usual ‘Buy Now.’ This change is likely due to the upcoming release of the remaster. However, it’s a bit odd because the remastered version is priced at $49.99, which is the same as the original on PC.

Interestingly, Horizon Zero Dawn is still on sale on Steam and GOG, but we can’t say how long that will last. There’s a good chance that it’ll be pulled from those storefronts as well, making way for the remaster to return on October 31, 2024.

Grab Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition and upgrade to the remastered version for just $9.99

If you’re looking to play Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, the smartest move is to purchase the original game and hold out for the upgrade release.  It’s a good idea to snag it now, as prices may increase as the launch date approaches.
