Mystery and intrigue awaits — on Earth and out in space
After being treated to a relaxing bear-run B&B sim this week, the EGS has revealed that next week’s Epic Games freebie will come in the form of something a little different.
From October 10 to 17, all Epic users will be able to claim survival horror Outliver: Tribulation, and the space-based crafting survival Empyrion for free.
What are the Epic Games freebies for October 10?
From 15:00 UTC on October 10, until 15:00 UTC on October 17, you’ll be able to permanently add Outliver: Tribulation and Empyrion – Galactic Survival to your Epic Games library.
The story-driven third-person adventure of Outliver follows the journey of a soldier on the run who finds themselves mysteriously thrown into the middle of an ancient ritual — and a fight for survival. Centered around African mythology, this atmospheric title is full of intrigue and jumps around every corner.
The second game, Empyrion, is a sandbox survival adventure that’ll have you building sprawling planetary settlements, vast space stations, and constructing and controlling mighty capital vessels.
As for this week’s free game, you’ve got until 14:59 UTC on October 10 to snap up the charmingly relaxing Bear & Breakfast, which sees you help set up and run a woodland B&B for a bear and their friends.
