A new entry in the Yakuza franchise is on the way!
If you can’t get enough of pirate themes, Goro Majima, or both, we’ve got some exciting news for you! A new spin-off in the Like a Dragon/Yakuza series, titled Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, was announced during today’s RGG Summit.
This installment will take you to the seas alongside an amnesiac ex-yakuza who becomes a pirate and sets off searching for his lost memories (and treasure). The game promises thrilling real-time naval and land battles, plus plenty of humor, all in classic Yakuza style.

Unfortunately, Yakuza fans, you’ll have a long wait ahead. The Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii release date is scheduled for February 27, 2025. The game will be available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5.
