Why is God of War Ragnarök being review bombed?

As of now, God of War Ragnarök has garnered 4,085 reviews on Steam, with 69% of them being positive. While players are raving about the combat, story, and stunning graphics, many are encountering frustrating technical issues with the PC port. Reports of stuttering, memory leaks, and FPS drops are common, even on high-end machines.

Additionally, some players are unhappy with the constant need for an Internet connection, and a significant number are voicing their concerns about having to create a PSN account to play—though several reviewers mention that this step is actually optional.
