Do they deserve a second chance?
Following numerous delays, Fntastic’s The Day Before was released in December 2023. Despite all the hype, it received extremely negative reviews, leading to its removal from Steam. The developers then shut down the studio, and surprised players were issued full refunds.
Nonetheless, Fntastic appears to be seeking to regain player trust, returning with a new Kickstarter campaign and a recovery plan, proclaiming that “Everyone deserves a second chance.”
What is Fnatstic 2.0?

In one of their tweets, Fntastic stated, “Everyone deserves a second chance.” With that sentiment, they’ve initiated a new Kickstarter campaign for their project, Escape Factory, a 3D platforming co-op game. They also mentioned that if they don’t reach their funding goal, all contributions will be refunded.
